HOUSE OF LORDS WAR MEMORIAL.
1 UNVEILING BY PRINCE. (UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION—B? ELICTF.IO TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) LONDON, March 10. The Prince of Wales unveiled in the Royal Gallery of the House of Lords a memorial to members and their sons who fell in tho Great War. The memorial consists of two bronze figures on .marble, typifying youth offering its sword to its country. Oak panels bear 243 names. The Archbishop of Canterbury (Dr. Cosmo Gordon Lang) and the Bishops of Exeter and Sheffield (the Rt. Rev. Lord William Gascoyne-Ceeil, and the Rt. Rev. L. 11. Burrows) attended. The Chapel Royal Ch»ir, attired in scarlet and gold, sang, and the Prince recited the services of those who obeyed the call. He said: "On every battlefield they sleep as they fell, with their faces to tho East, looking toward the morning.'" Trumpeters of the Horse Guards sounded Last Post. *•
