"La Prenza" publishes a disp&tek stating that 85 men x were hanged by orders of the Governor, Senor Canabal, of Tabasco State, to avenge the lynching of Senor Chable, Mayor of tie town of Aguadulce. Chable is said to bay* provoked the ire of the townspeople i» connexion with kidnapping a girl, 'who died of injuries suffered when she fell from a horse when being abdoeted. The townspeople killed Chable. The Governor had the perpetrator* strung at intervals along the highway.
