MISS FAY TAYLOUR'S TOUR. LONDON, December 9. Miss Fay Taylour, the woman dirt track rider, who rode in Australia and New Zealand last season, and recently rede at several meetings in Germany, and who appeared at the Crystal Fahtce outboard races in speed-boat events, is going to India aboard the Ltanpura, and ultimately proposes going to Australia before the end of the speedway season. The Parramptta river was the scene of a ' glim tragedy, when the tide washed up on the rocks the terribly mutilated body of a woman who escaped from Callan Park Asylum on December 6th. DEATHS FROM CHOLERA. LONDON, December 9. In reference to the report of deaths of students at the London Mission School in Madras, due to a snake found in a utensil in which soup was prepared, the mission headquarters says that 31 are dead, and that cholera was responsible. Tlio missionaries safe include Misses H. M. May and J. W*. Inglis, who are New Zeala'nders.
