WOMEN'S. MID-WEEK COMPETITION. Tho second round of the women's interclub mid-week competition was played yesterday afternoon at Wilding Park. Results were us follows: — SECTION I. Fendalton v. Avonside. (Kendalton names first.) Singles—-Jliss M. Wake beat Miss W. Angas, 9-3; Miss E. Xtudlcin beat Mrs Smytlie, .93!; Miss M. Shcrris beat Mrs Gilbert, S>-2;-Miss M. Munns lost to .
