But the futility of a Prince Consort's life damps his ardour, and he is forced to a«t drastically in order to assert himself as husband in his own home and king in his kingdom. The talkie is at times richly humorous, tho (scenes are superbly staged, and some beautiful choral singing is alone worth listening to. Jeanette MacDonaJd makes tho ideal Louise, while Lupino Lane and Lillian Roth, provide much of the humour.
