(Osfc 91b), of Newcastle, who h:\s recently beaten Heeney, Roberts, and Malcolm, forced the fight against Allan I'"de;ecock (9st 91b), of Sydney," and gained tlio decision in the sixth round after a willing mill. The loser was punished severely, but stood up gamely to his task. At Newcastle, Billy Thomas (list lib), of Wales, defeated Jimmy Pearce (list 51b), of Newcastle, on points in fifteen rounds.
