AMERICAN MOTOR-BOATS CHALLENGE. (BBITI3H OVFICIAL WIHELZBS.* (Received November 30th, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, November 28. The United States will send three motor-boats to the international regatta of motor-boating and yachting, which is to be held at Southampton next year in order to try to regain the international trophy won for England ly Scott Payne at Detroit this year. DESIGNS ON MOTOR-CYCLE RECORD. (Received November 30th, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, November 28. Captain Irving, designer of the Golden Arrw, on which Sir Henry Segrave broke the world's land speed itcord, is to be asked by the Rudge Motor-Cycle Company of Coventry, to collaborate in producing a motor-cycle which will beat the world record of 150 miles an ho<ir set up recently in Ireland on a British machine by J. S. Wright.
