THEATRE ROYAL.
"THE ROGUE SONG." "The Rogue Song," now showing afr-the Theatre Royal, will appeal to everyone. The production is headed by Lawrence Tibfaett, who has a wonderful voice The tale told by the picture is of a Caucasian brigand and 11 Russian princess (Catherine Dttle Oven). At first sight they love each other, bui circumstances and mutual pride preclude their coming into true happiness until many trials have been suffered by both. As a background there are highly-coloured mountains, suitable music, and the barbaric splendour of the brigand's voice. A word mist be sr.id for the x>roduction of "The Rogue Song.*' Lionel Barrytnore was responsible for it, and the Barrymoro touch is discernible everywhere. Laurel and Hardy, the best comedians in Hollywood, provide what is at times very welcome relief, aid the musical sequences of Frans Lehar carry the picture along.
