INTER-BOROUGH SPORTS.
MEETING OF DELEGATES. A meeting of delegates irom the 2\e>v Brighton and Sumner United Sports Association was held in Sumner, Mr G. F. Allen presiding over the following delegates: —Nevr Brighton: Mr J. 1 I Shaw, Mr G. W. Bishop (secretary), and Mr I'. 8. Pearson; Sumlicr: Messrs L. 11. Chapmn,n. G. T. Chitty, K H. Neville, and C. 1,. Allen (secretary). A report submitted showed that the year's contests hail been successfully and Hmootbly covered, with advantage to both boroughs. Much consideration wai given to thu question of inter-school competitions. -It v.fls decided to make the fool ball a weight qualification to include all schools. It wa.9 also decided to make the primary school age for all other competitions under fourteen yeaib Arrangements were made to play the school cricket and a school-girls' friendly match about Monday, December 15th. The following were announced as the re* eults of the competitions to date: —New Brighton won bowling, billiards, snooker, Rugby, athletics, life-savin?, ladies' shooting, primary school basketball Sumner h-.vd won tennis, primary school Rugby, Soccer, men's shooting, cricket, lire brigade. , Totals—New S t Sumner t>.
