1.30 p.m. The first not© of welcome to the aviator will bo in No. 2 shed 011 the wharf, where a reception will be held, and at which speeches of welcome will be given by the chairman of the Wellington Harbour Board (Mr J. W. McEwen), the Director of Air Services (Wing-Commander Grant-Dalton), the president of the Wellington Aero Club, and Mr i£. A. Sevier, general manager of the Vacuum Oil Company. The arrangements for the "reception are in the hands of; the Wellington Aero Clubv Arrangements have been made for i the immediate landing of Mr Garden's . aeroplane, Kia- Ora. Further arrangements regarding Mr Garden's stay in Wellington provide for morning tea with members of Cabinet at Parliament House at 11 o'clock on Wednesday, and a reception by the English Speaking Union on Wednesday evening.
