The Archduke Otto attained his majority at Steenockerzcel Castle, in tho presence of the principal Hungarian Monarchist, who signed an act of homage in Otto's favour. Hungarian Loyalists in Brussels openly boast that Otto's accession to the Throne at a favourable moment, wilt not be opposed by tho Powers; but the ex-Empress Zita has announced that she had no intention at. present of making an attempt to secure the Hungarian Throne. AI! she desired/ was calm and rest.
[After tho Great War Hungary's personal union with Austria was dissolved, the Habsburg Dynasty, being dethroned In 1921. Hungary to-day is an independent kingdom, though with a vacant throne, the functions of the King being exercised by a Regent.]
