MISS KATHLEEN GARY EN'S CONCERT.
On Wednesday next Miss Kathleen Garven, ' Miss Nellie Hayward, and their students will present a programme at the Caledonian Hall that should prove a real attraction. It is a very varied one, appealing dramatic arias, dainty French songs, duets, and trios, piano solos and duo 6, etc. Miss Garven will sing a number of choice English song 6, including "Rose Softly Blooming" and "Home, Sweet Home.'* Mrs Francis Bennett's rich contralto voice will be heard in the "Swan," by Saint-Saens, and the charming 4 'Les Yeux." She will be accompanied on the violin by Mr Bernard Barker, and Misses Nan Ellis, Peggy McGreevey, Ethel Rattray, and Marian Hayward are all pianists of merit. Mrs J. Brosnahan's mellow soprano voice will be heard in the soulful aria from "La Gioconda." "The Blind Girl's Solo,'* "To s Wild Rose" (Schubert), and "Fairy Pipers." MiBB Eunice James, the possessor of a sweet mezzo voice, will sing Schumann's "Devotion." Other soloists will be Messrs Peter Amodeo, David Lusk, Clarence Hartley, Clive Stewart, Eileen Mabar, Mrs Leeming. and Anita Graham.
