PLUNKET SOCIETY.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. (l-HBSB ABBOCIATIOW TSLEOKAM.) WELLINGTON, November 21. The Plunket Society Conference decided to consider sending a delegate to the Pan-Pacific Conference three yoara hence. The selection of a delegate was left to the Central Council. The following addition to the rule» was agreed to:—"Before any branch or Bub-brunoh committee shall commit itself to expenditure of any money on the acquisition of any land or any interest therein, or in respect of the erection of any buildings on land, however acquired, it shall first obtain the approval of the Contral Council of the Society, to whom shall be submitted full details as to oost and proposed method of financing the purchase, or coßt of erection, and a report by the committee as to desirability or necessity of the proposal for the proper carrying on of the work of the Society. Failure on the part of a branch or "sub-branch committee to comply with this provision shall render the branch liable to forfeiture of Government subsidy."
