WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
TO THE EDITOR OP THE PRESS Sir, —Might I enquire through the medium of your paper why a Jorry belonging to the Waipara County Council has spent several days recently carting brokon metal on to about a mile and a lialf of road through private property! About three years ago the Council's teams shingled this same road, and I wonder, now they are metalling it again, what I must do to get iny private entrance treated in the same manner. Surely all ratepayers in the county are entitled to the same treatment. —Yours, etc., RATEPAYER. Motunau, Nor. 13th, 1930. [The chairman of the Council, when asked if he wished to reply to this letter, said that he saw no reason for departing from his usual practice 0 t ignoring anonymous criticism.]
