NEW YORK, December 5.
According to reports Los Angeles, forest and brush fires in the Tuna and Tujunga canyons destroyed twenty-five residences and the Country Club, and burned more than 5000 acres of country. A call for additional fire-fighters was sent out when the neighbpuring cities of Glendale and Burbank were threatened, and 800 men are now working to extinguish the blaze.
