The trial of the Higgs brothers for the murder of Leslie has opened. Great public interest is being taken in the case, crowds gathering in the vicinity of the Court. Both the Crown and the accused exhaustively exercised the right of challenge, so the choice of a jury will be a. lengthy process. The case is likely to last several days. _ ("Ronald Lachlan Leslie, a grazier and man of means, was found dead in his motor-car which was standing m a lonely by-road near Sydney. There were three bullet wounds in tliG chest. Subsequently, three brothers, Hubert. Bruce, and William Higgs, were arrested and charged with murder.]
