John Rowlands, Edward Rowlands, and Daniel Briscoll were sentenced to dteath for the murder of David Lewis, the- well-known Rugby player. All declared they were innocent. William Price was found not guilty and was discharged. [The Crown Prosecutor, in outlining the case against accused, said that the murder was a beastly and cowardly ono. They bad held Lewis's arms, and deliberately cut his throat and then left him to die on the roadside. Lewis played for Cardilf.]
