RAILWAY METHODS.
TO THE EDITOS Of TAB TKESS. Sir,—With reference to a letter in connexion with the above heading, which appeared recently in your columus, referring to the stoppage of passenger cars of trains away from platforms, I have had enquiries made and find the complaint is exaggerated. In some cases there are more carriages on trains, than the platform will accommodate, when, of course, all carriages cannot be alongside the platform. If vour correspondent would be more definite and name the station referred to or write me direct, I should be happ'v to go further into the question with a iview to removing the cause of his complaint.—Yours, etc. .
