WINTER SHOW.

SURPLUS OF OVER £I3OO. There are still some adjustments to be made before a final balance-sheet of the "Winter Show, held jointly by the Canterbury Manufacturers' Association and the Canterbury A. aud P. Association,, can be issued., An approximate balance-sheet shows that the surplus will be over £I3OO. The A. and P. Association lias received from the Manufacturers.' Association a cheque for £622 19s 3d, but out of this the A. and P. Association has to meet certain charges which, when deducted, will leave the Association's net profit from the show at £4BO.

This result is very satisfactory from the A. and P. Association's point of view, and the financial success of the show is highly creditable to the Manufacturers' Association.
