A SUGGESTION FOR MR SIDEY.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. " Sir,—Now that Mr Sidey is out/of a job, I suggest he introduce a Bill to compel all employers to raise wages ten shillings a week. Six hours a week more play without extra cash is no good at all. What about a compulsory 44hour week for farmers, and a fixed price for all produce? A few more holidays would help and we could go in for a good time .ill round.—Yours, etc., OLD TIMER. November 3rd, 1927.
