OLYMPIC GAMES.
EXECUTIVE'S DECISION. (bt cable—fksss association—co?thight.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CAB LB ASSOCIATION.) (Received November Ist, 10.10 p.m.) LAUSANNE, November 1. The executive of the International Olympic Commission unanimously adopted a resolution against the charge that it had gone beyond its authority in deciding in favour of the payment of a limited indemnity for broken time and overruled the decision of the Olympic Congress at Prague. The executive claims that it has the right to make emergency decisions between meetings of the Congress. The executive thus maintains its decision to allow the International Tootball Federation to participate in the Olympic Games despite British and French protests against the broken time payments, to amateurs. Further developments will be awaited with interest.
