The ex-Kaiser has written to his sister, the Princess Victoria, protesting against her proposed marriage and stating: "I am unable to approve." [The ex-Kaiior'd sister, Princess Victoria Schaumburg-Lippe, who is a widow, reported to be eccentrio and wealthy, . recently contracted a ballroom friendship, with Alexander Zoubkoff, a 27-year-old Russian, who had served as a cook in a ship's galley and washer-up in Berlin restaurants. The engagement of the couple was announced, and the ex-Kaiser was reported to have consented to their marriage.]
