M.P.'S MAROONED.
VISIT TO KAPITI "ISLAND. [THE PRESS Special Serviw.] WELLINGTON, October 31. A party of members of Parliament, ten or twelve in number, went to Kapiti Island for the week-end and expected to return, to Wellington this morning. Owing to the change in the weather, however, it was impossible for the launches to leave . the Island, and the Parliamentarians are presumably making the best of the unusual experience of being marooned. The party is understood to include Messrs Field, Veitch, J. R. Hamilton, McCombs, Samuel, Harris, and Eliott.
