CANTERBURY JUSTICES.
VISIT TO LINCOLN. On Saturday afternoon about 10 members of the Canterbury Justices of the Peace Association and their wives accepted the offer of the Canterbury Agricultural College authorities a.-iJ visited Lincoln. The visitors were met by Mr M. J. Scott and were conducted over tlie buildings, orchard, experimental plots, and gardens by Messrs J. W. Calder and D. J. Sidey, who fully explained the work being carried out. They wefe afterwards entertained at afternoon tea.
Mr Scott apologised for the absence of the Director (Mr R. E. Alexander) and Dr. Hilgendorf. Mr A. Williams, president of the Association, thanked the College authorities for the opportunity afforded them of inspecting the agricultural training ground.
