The "Daily Mail's" correspondent at Casablanca reports that the captured Steeg party have been held prisoners in chains pending negotiations for a ransom. [Moroccan tribesmen in the neighbourhood of the Atlas Mountains kidnapped a shooting party, consisting of the nephew of the /French Resident, General Stoeg, the nephew's wife, General Steeg's stepson, and the latter's wife.]
