PILLION-RIDING.

CITY COUNCIL APPROACHED. At its meeting last evening the City Council received a letter from .the Pioneer Sports Club, Ltd., advising that at a public meeting to discuss the by-law prohibiting pillion-riding, a deputation was appointed to place the views of the meeting before the City Council; and asking to be advised when the deputation could meet the Council. On the motion of Crs. R. M. Macfarlane and P. W. Sharpe, it was decided to receive the deputation at the next Council meeting at 8.15 p.m.
