AT THE THEATRE ROYAL. Up-to-date magic and Hlusionmcnfc, as presented by Carter the Great, ccntinuo to thrill and mystify large audiences at the Theatre Koyr.l. hut at the same time they amuse. The many tricks nnd illusions arc carried out in a manner which enables the people to think they see everything that is taking; place. This adds to the mystery of the performance. The most intriguing of the magician's presentations is tho "Disappearing; Flapper." One moment she 13 in mid-air, suspended by n- rope, a pistol flashes, and the next moment flic has vanished.
