CANTERBURY PILGRIMS.
* ANNIVERSARY DAY ARRANGEMENTS. The executive of the Canterbury rilgrims' Association met yesterday afternoon. l'rei!ent —Messrs .1. A. Flcsher (chairman), A. .11. Holmes, Jf. L. Bowker, V. R. Webb, A. D. Ifassnll, J. J. Thompson. A request for the loan of the Ward Diary for the, purpose of making a typewritten copy was granted, the applicant undertaking to supply the Association with a copy typewritten. It was decided that. the. afternoon function in the Anniversary Day celebrations be held on Saturday, December 17th, and that at the Church service on the following Sunday, Bishop AVest-Watsou be asked to preach a special sermon. A committee, consisting of the chairman, and Messrs Webb and Bowker, was set up to go into the question of the locality at which tho anniversary celcbrattions should bo held. The annual meeting of the Association was set down for December Bth. Mr Bowker said that Mrs IT. D. Andrews had a copy of the diary of her father, Mr Davie aud he suggested that Mrs Andrews might' be asked to lend it to the Association. It wss decided to do so. Mr J. J. Thompson was thanked for presenting to the Association a copy of "Talcs of Banks rcuinsuln."
