—o — : TO-MORROW NIGHT'S CONCERT. Patrons should thoroughly enjoy the programme to be submitted to-morrow nigHt at the Choral Hall upon the occasion of the orchestral and instrumental concert by the advanced students of Irene Morris and Harold Beck. With the assistance of leading Christchurch musicians, full orchestral works will be rendered. The unique feature of an ensemble of twenty 'cellos and harp is attracting a very widespread interest. Musiclovers will look forward to' the rendering of the favourite melody, "Star of Eve," by such a large body of instrumentalists. At last vear's concert the hall was mled to overfitwine, and there is every indication of such an audience being present to-morrow evening. A very interesting performance will o» that of Bach's double "Concerto for

two violins with orchestra. A splendid combination of instrumental talent has been selected in order to provide a wide and varied inclusion of the best works of standard composers, ancient and modern, some of the works to be performed for tho first time in Xew Zealand. The harp assistance in the unique 'cello numbers will bo rendered by Mr H. G. Glaysher. The orchestra, which is to include Beethoven's "Prometheus" overture from the ballet music, is under tho conductorship and leadership of Harold Beck and Irene Morris respectively. The pianist for the evening is Mr Finlay Robb.
