Jones 10s, Arthur Chas. Large 10s, ana Edward Welsford 10s. ~, , .. Convicted for cvcling without lights, me following were fined, with costs: —Norman Bourn 10s, Malcolm Breitmeyer 10s, Henry Brown 10s, Ronald Alfred Bullivant costs only, John Burns 10s, Horace Crockett 10s, Roy Dyer ss, Harold James Ewart 10s, Arnold Fletcher 10s. Reginald Hart 10s, Geoffrey Thomas Holmes ss, Albert Lcfigett ss, Alfred Robert Murray 10s. Ronald Strachan 10s, Robert A. Underwood 10s, Joseph Vincent 10s, and Victor Chas. Webb 10s. For giving a false name Bullivant was fined 20s and costs. MOTOR VEHICLES. Joseph F. Andrews, for driving » moto -J vehicle without a license, was fined -Os ana costs, and was ordered to pay costs lor dming without lights. _..»- Leo Armstrong and Robert Burns Tvere oath convicted and fined 20s and costs lor pillion riding. , . „„„», Peter Hill and David White were each fined 10s and costs for leaving motor-cars at night without lights. . . Efic George Walker, for having no mirror on his motor-lorry, was fined 10s ana costs. _ CHIMNEY AFIRE. E. Willie Young was fined 5s and costs for allowing a chimney to catch fire. ILL-TREATED A HORSE. James Boyd, on a charge of cruelly illtreating a horse, pleaded guilty and was fined £3 and costs. " NEGLIGENT DRIVING. William Chas. Keenan (Mr Staccr) was charged with negligent driving m oolomoo The evidence showed that he drove a ear out of a right-of-way and collided witn N s tram-car. He was fined £3 and costs. •DANGEROUS DRIVING. Henry Drury van Asch (Mr Thomass) pleaded not guilty on charges of dangerous driving and failing to report an accident m which a person had been injured. The accident occurred ou July 24th, near Belfast, when van Asch's car collided with a cyclist, Leonard H. Ward. ~„__._ He was fined £5 on the charge of. dangerous driving, the other charge being dis""""charge of negligent driving against, William Milner (Mr Sargent) was dismiswd. after evidence which took nearly three hours Henry Pearce was fined 20s and costs, and his license suspended for three months, on a charge of dangerous driving. He was not represented by counsel, and conducted his own defence. . (Before Mr H. V. Lawry, S.M.) MAINTENANCE CASE. \n application for a maiutenance order bv Eileen Squire (Mr W. F. Tracy) from Francis Lindsay Squire (Mr F. D. Sargeut) was adjourned sine die aftor the hearing of evidence. '
