LOYAL ADDINGTON LODGE.
The Loyal Addington Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., celebrated its 45th anniversary on Thursday in the Oddfellows' Hall,. Selwyn street. There were over 100 members present, including ' the District G.M., Bro. Beattie, Deputy-District G.M., Bro. Roberts, the District Treasurer, and also representatives from Loyal Papanui, Sister Pearce, Perseverance, Jubilee, City of Norwich, Phillipstown, Volunteer, and Past Grands Lodges. A happy time wis Bpent in dancing. A lucky-spot dance was won by Miss Wister. Several novelty dances wore a feature of the evening, and much credit is duo to Bro. L. A. Gourlay, who acted as M.O. ' About sixty took part in the euchre, and dinners were: Men. Br. W. Pearce 1, Bro. V?. J. Hill 2, Mr C. Hennessy 3, Mr W. Hill consolation. Ladies. Mrs A. C. Rose 1, Mrs Philpott 2, Mrs W. Hill 8, Miss tf. Howden consolation.
