_* ST. BEDE'S COLLEGE SPORTS. SOME FINE PERFORMANCES. The anirjal sports of St. Bcde's College were held at the College grounds yesterday. The conditions were not favourable in the morning, a cold wind. blowing across the field, but in the afternoon they improved. There was a fair attendance of visitors "■.<> watch the events, which were closely contested. A rumber of events were run off previously, four records being broken. One other record was broken yesterday, D. O'Brien lowering the previous junior long imntj record by 7£in. The senior championship" was won by L.
