LATE MR GEORGE BURN
FUNERAL YESTERDAY. The funeral of the late Mr George Burn yesterday afternoon was attended by a very large number of mourners. The procession started from his home, 437 Worcester street, and proceeded to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, where the Bev. W. Bower Black conducted the funeral service. The cortege, well over a mile in length, then proceeded to the Bromley Cemetery, where Mr Bower Black performed the last rites. The chief mourners were Messrs Eric Burn, A. Burn, B. Hannan, and D. E. McDonald. At the church the pall-bearers were; Messrs J. G. Herdman, R. Malcolm, F. W. Anderson, P. Hercus, B. H. Wilson, and W. S. Bobinson. Messrs G. M. Hall, L. Ansell,. W. Chaplin, H. Reed, P. Frampton, and G. Ralton, of Booth, Macdonald and Co., were the pall-bear-ers at the graveside. Amongst the mourners were: Messrs G. A. Praser, J. G. Fraser, W. Anderson, R. Hall, B. P. Hayman, W. Edmondson, W. Bountree, L. G. Ancall, P. W Prampton, H. Lindsay, W. Chaplin, H. Reed, M. Walker, P. Trolove, G. M. Hall, J. Tate, A. McM. Paterson, G. T. Booth, R. H. Booth, R. Johnston, A. Jeans, J. B. Campbell, E. S. Jones, A. Wilson, G. Batchelor, R. Malcolm, J. Anderson and Son, J. Tullock, P. Hercus, J. S. Young, A. D. Hassall, J. Cardwell, the Rev. Br. Erwin, the Revs. R. M. Ryburn, T.
