ENGLISH PARK STADIUM.
SPORTS TO BE HELD TO-MORROW NIGHT. j The executive of the North Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union decided yesterday to go on with the sports meeting at the Stadium tomorrow night. The programme consists of several handicap cycling races, and a 130 yds caßh run. Amongst the riders who have heminated is Phil O'Shea. A feature of the meeting will be & pursuit race of two teatofl Of riders. The teams will start from opposite eidea of the track. A eplendid entry has been received for the running race,, and four heats will be necessary to decide it. Tho entjants include some of the best sprinters in the Dominion". During the evening over twenty rices will be held, including novelty events. sports will commence at 8 p.m.
