CZECHO-SLOVAKIANS AND CANADIANS. [THE PRESS Bpecial Service.] WELLINGTON, January 14. Tho following cablegram has been received by the Council of the New Zealand Football Association from the Commonwealth Association: — "Completing negotiations with the representatives of a Ozecho-Slovakjan team for a tour of Australia. Willing to negotiate for an extension to New Zealand or a« an alternative extension of your Canadian tour to Australia. The visitors are well organised and capable exponents. Eeply urgently." The New Zealand Council has forwarded the following reply:— "Unaolc to avail ourselves of tho CzechoSlovakian team this season. Regret wo cannot alter the present Canadian arrangements. Wish you success in your, tour."
