VIENNA, January 9

A hideoug sample of lynch law was experienced in the Polish town of Czonseichan. Peasants, exasperated by persistent thefts and ppliee inability to find the offender, organised a search. They found the man, took him to th* market square, and tied him .to a stake. Logs were piled up as high as his neck, and then set on fire. The peasants drank and danced wild, ly till death ended their victims agonising cries. The police arrested twenty-fire of the ringleaders.
