BANNED COLONIAL PLAYERS. (by cable—press association—copyright.) (australian and n.z. cable association.) (Received January 6th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 5, The Rugby Clubs and affiliated Leagues rejected by 14 votes to 13 Wigan's proposal to remove the ban on all Colonial players on January Bth. A further motion passed supported the action of the Rugby League Council in releasing the restriction on Australian and New Zealand Rugby League players from January 3rd. The Council decided to reduce the price of admission to the Leeds Test from os to Is 6d. It was considered that L. Brown had been sufficiently punished by being sent off the Held. F. Henry having been registered as a York player, his suspension by tho New Zealand managers must terminate on January 16th. Henry played in York prior to going to New Zealand.
