UNRULY SOLDIERS.
FRACAS IN WIESBADEN. IBT CABLI—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COFTBIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, January 5. A message from Wiesbaden states that a British Court acquitted four young Germans accused of attacking two British soldiers, one of whom was seriously injured, during a fracas in a cafe on Christmas Eve. The British prosecutor declared the soldiers behaved improperly, and were blameable for the incident, but the occupational law forbade their ejection. The newspapers favourably compare this with the conduct of the prosecutor in the Germersheim court-martial.
