DUNEDIN FIGURES. [THE PRESS Special Service.] DUNEDIN, January 5. Tho returns of the Magistrate's Court, Dunedin, show that during the October-November-December quarter of 1926 the number of plaints entered was 903, the amount sued fc* being £16,504 15s Bd. Cases tried numbered 490, representing claims of £7961 3s Id, and the amount recovered was £7384 0s lid.

The figures for the corresponding quarter of 1925 were:—Plaints entered, 604; amount sued for, £12,944 13s sd; cases tried, 520; amount claimed, £7058 5s Id; amount recovered, £6546 19s 2d. '
