WELL-KNOWN BUSINESS CHANGE A slight change has been made in the personnel of the well-known firm of Messrs Barnett and Co., chemists, Cathedral square and Oxford terrace, Christchurch, and Ashburton, Mr W. J. F. Barnett retiring from the business, which in future will be' carried on solely by Mr S, F. Barnett, who will continue the business under the present name of Barnett and Co.

The . firm of Barnett and Co., of course, is one of the best known in Canterbury, they being noted particularly tor their carerui prescription work, prompt service, and courteous attention. Meticulous car e has always been exercised By Barnetts' in the dispensing of prescriptions, and none but the purest of drugs are employed by tnem. The result is that customers are always certain that the medicines jiarnetts' supply are genuine, active, ami dispensed exactly to the physician's orders. Messrs Barnett and Co., have made a feature of forwarding medicine by mail. AH that a person in the country has to do is post the prescription to Barnetts' along with remittance and by return mail the medicine arrives, together with a retund of any amount overpaid by the customer.

One of' Messrs Barnetfi and Co's. best known lines is Comenthol, which is undoubtedly the finest remedy on the market for giving prompt relief to colds in the head, influenza, etc., arid effecting a rapid cure. The 'number of bottles of Comenthol sold bv Messrs Barnett and Co., this past winter, if put end to end, would easily reach the top of the Cathedral spire, and then there would be many over. Messrs Barnett and Co.'s hours are from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on ordinary week days, from 8.30 a.ni till 9 p.m. on Fridays, from 8.30 a.m. till 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p . m# Qll Saturdays, and from 10.30 a.m till 12.30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 0 n Sundays.
