RAILWAY TARIFF.
ROAD METAL FREIGHTS. (press association telegram.) WAIPAWA, July 3. Mr Jull, president of the Counties' Association, states that the proposals, in the new railway tariff concerning increased freights on road metal for local bodies will form, a subject of discussion between the Railway Board and ' the executive of the Counties' Association on Tuesday next. A feature of the y tariff is a much greater increase on the haulage of road metal for use on roads competing with a railway.
