BOWLING.
IMPERIAL CLUB. The second annual general meeting of the Imperial Bowling Club -was held at "Wood Bros.' Mill, Addington, last -week, Mr C. N. Clark being in the-chair. The annual report and balance-sheet •were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr Henry Wood (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs Walcot Wood, C. Wood, P. Wood, F. E. Corson, G. H. Wood, F. Meggitt, D. Wood, and C. M. Clark; committee', Messrs Fraser, Meggitt, King, Taylor, Dudley, Mitchell, and Wbrnall; hon. treasurer, Mr E. Jr Lyon; hon. secretary, Mr H. Da vies; hon. auditor, Mr W. E. Couzins; delegate to New Zealand Bowling Association (Christchurch Centre), Mr E. J. King. The chairman, in the absence of the president, reported on the progress made in the lirst season of the club's existence, and hoped it would be sustained. Complimentary reference was made to the work of the greenkeeper (Mr Mitchell) in getting the green and surroundings into such good order. A vote of thanks was accorded the ladies who looked after the afternoon tea on playing days. BOWLERS' TOUR. (by cable— truss ASSOCIATION—COPTftIOET.)
