AGED BISHOP'S DEATH.

The death is reported of Dr. Matthew Gibney, a forujer itoman Catholic Bishop of Perth, aged ' 87, who, since 1910, had been living in retirement. His death removes an interesting link with the Kelly Gang of bushrangers. Father Gibney, a3 he then was, at great personal risk, entered the burning building where the gang was surrounded at Glenrowan, and administered the last rites to the dead' and wounded bushrangers..
