MONTHLY MEETING. At the monthly meeting of the Canterbury Land Board there were present: Messrs G. H. Bullard (chairman), E. Macaulay, D. Stowell, T. G. Gee, and R. F. Henderson. Tho following applications for transfers were approved:— Section 8, Beserve 349, Block 111., Geraldine, 158 acres 3 roods 03 perches, and Section 9, Reserve 349, Block 111., Geraldine, 184 acres 0 roods 18 perches—Silas Ellery to -Frederick Randolph Ellery and William Horace Ellery. Section 71, Block VII., Cheviot, 99 acres 2 roods 28 perches—William Bruce to Ernest Peter Honeybone. . ' The following application for lease of Crown land was approved:— Part Hae Hae Te Moana river-bed, fronting R.S. 19875, Block V., Geraldine S.D., 1 acre (approx.), year to year—A. H. Worner. In addition to the above, eighty other cases dealing with recommendations for transfers of renewable leases, and questions relating to arrears of rent and mortgage instalments were considered in committee.
