MONTHLY MEETING. At the monthly meeting of the Canterbury Land Board there were present: Messrs G. H. Bullard (chairman), E. Macaulay, D. Stowell, T. G. Gee, and R. F. Henderson. Tho following applications for transfers were approved:— Section 8, Beserve 349, Block 111., Geraldine, 158 acres 3 roods 03 perches, and Section 9, Reserve 349, Block 111., Geraldine, 184 acres 0 roods 18 perches—Silas Ellery to -Frederick Randolph Ellery and William Horace Ellery. Section 71, Block VII., Cheviot, 99 acres 2 roods 28 perches—William Bruce to Ernest Peter Honeybone. . Section 1, Block 111., Waitaki, VWatkafcahi," 25 acres 0 roods 8 porches-—Alfred Hames Woods to Alfred George Woods. Section 105, Block XI., Pareora,. "Rosewill," 282 acres 2 roods —William McCaw to McCaw Bros. Section 38, Block XII., Otaio, "Pareora No. 2," 138 acres 3 roods 37 perches—Robert Henry Forrest to Welham John Forrest. Section 22, Block VII., Opawa, "Rosewill," 620 acres—John Cartwright to William Waters. Part Run 14, Mackenzie County, Clayton Run, 37,898 acres —Thomas George Morris, George Thomas Moran, William John Dore, and John Joseph Bore (soldier) to Lachlan Patrick Mackenzie and Alister Bain Simon Mackenzie (soldior). ' The following application for lease of Crown land was approved:— Part Hae Hae Te Moana river-bed, fronting R.S. 19875, Block V., Geraldine S.D., 1 acre (approx.), year to year—A. H. Worner. In addition to the above, eighty other cases dealing with recommendations for transfers of renewable leases, and questions relating to arrears of rent and mortgage instalments were considered in committee.
