RECHABITES.
At the quarterly meeting of the Philipson Tent 1.0.8., Sister M. Abbott, C.R., presided. Three candidates were initiated, and sick pay was passed to six members. Advice was received that the Philipson Juvenile Tent had won the Bash Shield for initiating most new members. It was decided to present the shield this week, and that the officers and superintendents from other juvenile tents be invited to be present. The secretary, Bro. Martin, was instructed to write to the District Executive offering a Sisters' Challenge Banner for competition between the tents of the New Zealand Central District, to replace the banner won outright by the Philipson Adult Tent. It was decided not to compete for trophies during the next three years at least. The election of officers resulted as follows:—CR Bro. M P. Leathern; D.R., Bro. J. Tootell; P.C.K., Sister 11.
