In the interests of. economy red tape is being replaced by Wmary string in securing bundles of papers and documents m 'American Government offices. It was the v**> of this red tape by the Governments of the world that gave rise to the famous term "red tape' to indicate Government waste, delay, and *uefficiency. In one sense, therefore, America, has eliminated red tape!
