CHAMPIONSHIP DOG TRIALS.

The entries for tho Championship Dog Trials, which take place at Springfield, commencing on' Thursday, have closed, and show an improvement en those for last year, when the trials took place near Geialdinc. ■' For tho Heading event there are 37 entries and for the 'Huntaway there are 21. As all the dogs that will compete at Springfield have gained places in ,ciub trials, the i championship gathering is sure to prove a very interesting one, for some of the cleverest dogs in the country will tako part.
