WAIPORI ELECTRIC POWER.
A RECORD OUTPUT. (spiciai. to "the press.") BUNEDIN, June 22. The Waipori electrio power pianfc ( last week rose to a record outpdfc of 9400 k.w., au~ increase of GOO k.w. on. the previous record. This energy was given forth by five machines, with a combined capacity of 5000 k.w., and one'machine with 3000 k.w. Another 3000 k.w. machine is ready for action. Thus the corporation has plenty of power at its disposal, and is still in ru position to deal with prospective consumers at a price which is the lowest in New Zealand and is likely to remain so.
