The Australian sheep-dog is world famous, but a "donkey, dog," of which Air L 1> >Souef told the Institute ot Accountants at Melbourne in a lecture ou the development of Australia, deserves equal fame. Out in the dry plains Mr Ix> Souef met a man driving a team of 30 donkeys. The teamster had no native boy, and Air La Souef wondered how he collected and harnessed the team. Next morning the teamster stood by .She cartpole and whistled his dog,.which rounded up tho donkeys in pairs in their right order, and led them to the pole. The teamster had only to slip on the harness.
