(BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT.) (AUSTRALIAN AKD N.Z. tJABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYD.XEY, June 22.
Both C4oodsell and Hannan are doing so id work, each in a new out-rigger specially built by George Towns. Assisted, by racors, each man did the full course in good style in the new boats, with which they expressed themselves as being highly eat.etied. Goodsell is now down to his usual racing weight of 12st. Hannan is within a few pounds of his racing standard. Both are in good condition, and confident. (Received June 22, 11 p.m.) Both scullers were on the river in the rain to-day, but Hannan in the morning only, while Major Goodsell was out during tho afternoon.
The latter went over the full course in his new boat with a- pacer.. He sculled 30 in the minute, and in experts' opinion went more strongly than when he won the title from ilcDevitt.
